Cynthia, Thanks so much for posting. I probably haven't been clear about Jack's cancer, so thanks for asking. Yes they did find living cancer in his tissue biopsy. So what that means are there could be stray cells left behind by the surgeon which could begin to grow again, or there may be none left, it was ll removed by the surgeon. Won't know until he has his recheck in 3 months, so it will be a long 3 months. Am trying my best to believe that it is all gone.
Today we did a lot of work around the house and then spent the evening with some of Amy's friends who were here celebrating their eighth anniversary. It was pretty much just a lazy day. Jack played a little more today, in fact wanted to play a little game of throw the monkey. He also stalked a squirrel which he hasn't done for awhile. All in all, I saw more signs of his recovery. Amy was able to clean out his nose which had become pretty plugged up with mucus. I am sure he is breathing easier, however he is giving Amy a wide berth. He had a good dinner just a while ago, so I am sure I will be up with him in a few hours.
Thanks again for all your help and support. It has been a long last 30 days and we wouldn't be where we are without your generosity.
Debbie, I am so glad that Jack is getting better every day. I am abit confused though. Was there cancer present or none at all? Have you gotten your phone working yet? I am glad that you had a good day with Amy and that Jack got to go there without having to go to the vet's! Call me when you can. hugs to the both of you, Cynthia
